Mary-Kate and Ashley Fuller Olsen, also known as the Olsen twins were born Friday 13 of June 1986, in Sherman Oaks CA. Their careers started in the early age of 9 months. A friend of their mother Jarnette Olsen came up with the idea to let them go to an audition to a new TV series called Full house. The girls got the part and they shared the part as the youngest member of the family- called Michelle Elizabeth Tanner.

The twins were soon the “stars of the show” and in the beginning they earned was around 25 000$ per episode. In 1992 the twins did their first TV movie, "To grandmothers House we go". The fans loved seing them together and soon they did other movies such as Double, Double toil Trouble and It Takes Two. At the age of six they did their first album, "Brother for sale". The album was a huge success and sold more than 325 million copies around the world. The same year they created their own company Dualstar which made them to the youngest producers in US history. In 1994 the book and the Series called "The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley" came out, and idea by Robert Thorn who has followed the twins since Full House. Later that year the twins did another movie called "How the west was Fun". All their movies were produced by them and Dualstar. In 1996 the girls did their first big screen movie, It Takes Two. This movie was not produced by Dualstar but "Warner production". The movie was huge success. Robert Thorne continued working with the girls and in 1997 they made some new videos called "Your invited to Mary-Kate and Ashley's" When they reached the age of 11 they decided to make a new TV series called "Two of A Kind". This time they used their own names but with a different surname.

The TV series was not a big success so the TV series ended when they were around 13. The same year they continued making more movies such as "Billboard Dad", "Passport To Paris", and "Our Lips are Sealed". "Our Lips are Sealed" topped the Amazon.com best listed movies. In 2001 the girls played in another movie called "Winning London". A little later they decided to make video/PC games to children. This was the beginning of  their "Mary-Kate and Ashley Brand" Moreover they soon started making their own clothing line (you can find all of their stuff in Wal*Mart stores or stores who are a member  of the Wal*Mart family). Their brand also included Makeup and styling products. Later the twins signed up with Mattel so they could make dolls of them. The doll came in different looks from their movies and so on. In 2001 the twins again tried to start a new hit TV series called "So Little Time". This time they played two sisters in Malibu LA. So Little Time ended in 2002, after only two seasons. Mary-Kate was Emmy- nominated for her role as Riley Carlson in  the TV series. In 2002 and 2003 the twins made more TV movies; "Holliday in the Sun", "Getting There", "When in Rome" and "The Challenge". Late in 2003 the girls started making their second Cinema film Called "New York Minute" came out on the screen in the US in May 2004.

In May 2004 the girls got their own star at Hollywood walk of fame. In June 2004 Mary-Kate went into rehab for Anorexia and in July she returned to her normal life in the big apple NY. The fall of 2004 they started studying at New York University. In 2005 their online Fan club was officially launched, and in April they expanded their Brand with a new furniture collection.

Mary-Kate and Ashley are currently going to auditions, working on their brand and they are often attending fashion shows.
